Elliot Technologies provides media and related companies with advanced engineering solutions. Drawing on a team of professionals with extensive backgrounds in engineering systems and design, ET is a consulting firm specializing in the technical and business issues of Advanced Television, Digital Television, data services and the design of digital audio and video systems.

The firm was founded in 1997 by David Elliot, previously the Vice President of Engineering Services for the ABC Television Network. He spent over 30 years at ABC-TV, pioneering the development of new equipment and strategies in virtually every area of the Broadcasting Operations and Engineering division.  Mr. Elliot has won two Emmy Awards for Individual Achievement and Technical Team Engineering Supervision based on his work at the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games broadcasts.

The Elliot Technology team has members who have served on the FCC Advisory Committee on Advanced Television Services, the Board of the Advanced Television Test Center, the technology advisory board of the Museum of Television and Radio, committees of the SMPTE, standards committees of the CEA, and on the Executive Committee and Technology Committees of the ATSC. They have worked on hardware and software projects ranging from developing television, cable and media systems to designing digital broadcast plants and evaluating potential media technology acquisitions.

Most recently they have worked on issues of satellite delivery of Internet Protocol Television, planning and design of satellite uplink broadcast centers and development and implementation of mobile and cable television standards.  Members have served as expert witnesses for issues of production safety and valuation of cable and media properties.
