Established in 1997, Elliot Technologies was founded by David Elliot, previously the Vice President of Engineering Services for the ABC television network. Mr. Elliot has played a pivotal role in revolutionizing the Broadcasting Operations and Engineering division. Throughout his career spanning over 30 years, he has displayed exceptional innovation in developing new equipment and strategies.
He has been honored with two Emmy Awards for Individual Achievement and Technical Team Engineering Supervision for his outstanding contributions to the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games broadcasts.

Members’ Background
Members of the Elliot Technologies team have served on the FCC Advisory Committee on Advanced Television Services, the Board of the Advanced Television Test Center, the Technology Advisory Board of the Museum of Television and Radio, Committees of the SMPTE, Standards Committees of the CEA, and on the Executive Committee and Technology Committees of the ATSC.
They have worked on hardware and software projects ranging from developing television, cable, and media systems to designing digital broadcast plants and evaluating potential media technology acquisitions.
Most recently, they have worked on issues of satellite delivery of Internet Protocol Television. They are also involved in planning and designing satellite uplink broadcast centers and developing and implementing mobile and cable television standards. Members have also served as expert witnesses for issues of production safety and valuation of cable and media properties.
